Ben Fund of the Institution of Civil Engineers (BFICE)

Aims

To afford assistance to necessitous persons who are past or present members of the Institution of Civil Engineers, their dependants or the dependants of former members of the Institution of Municipal Engineers.

People helped

All assistance is awarded on merit and includes: Grants for maintenance of individuals. Lump sum grants for specific items. Grants towards convalescent and nursing home fees. Loans in certain circumstances. Limited educational grants. Accomodation in houses and flats at the Fund's properties in Haywards Heath, W. Sussex. Nomination rights for Crossways Trust homes. Nomination rights for sheltered housing through Hanover housing.
