Coal Industry Benevolent Trust

Aims

The relief of hardship suffered by any person who is a member of the mining community and who by reason of age, poverty or infirmity is in need of financial assistance. The provision of assistence of services for the relief of any widow, child or other dependant of any person who died as a result of an accident that occured in the course of employment in the Coal Industry.

People helped

1) Former employees and current employees in Coal Industry who are suffering hardship. 2) Financial asssitance to the Widows of those who have died of industrial disease/pneumocomiosis.
