Aims

To afford assistance (financial) to Optometrists, retired Optometists and dependants, whose circumstances are such that hardship may be caused without additional support.

People helped

Current grants include monthly payments to elderly or ill members of the profession or widows of deceased practitioners, and financial help with electricity, gas or telephone bills. Grants are also made to help infirm beneficiaries to go on holiday. Most beneficiaries receive a Xmas grant.
