Friends of the Elderly

Aims

Friends of the Elderly believes that all people should be able to retain independence and dignity, choice and peace of mind in old age. Our mission is to realise this through practical, caring support in both residential and community settings.

People helped

The Welfare & Grant Giving Team offer support to men and women aged 60 or over, on a low income, who have minimal savings. The charity also operates community services and care homes. Friends of the Elderley prioritises its welfare grants forpeople who are not eligible for help from any other trade, professional or service benevolent fund. However, contributions will be made towards expensive items along with other charities.
