Aims

Caravan exisits to help people who have worked in food retail/manufacturing/production, including supermarkets, grocers, greengrocers, provisions, off-licence trade or beer wine and spirits. Provides supplementary income or basic household items. Also provides a telephone response system or help with mobility items, gives advice on social benefits or support and companionship.. Provide basic household items: Fridge/Washing Machine/Television/Telephone/Cooker. Also provide telephone response systems. Give advice on social benefits. Support, companionship.

People helped

Any person who has worked in grocery industry, supermarket, food shop, food manufacturer, food production, grocer or greengrocer, either self employed or working for someone else, and can demonstrate financial need. Someone who has been a shop worker, sales assistant, factory worker, specialist in food retail or production industry e.g. cashier, off license, baker, butcher, fishmonger, warehouse worker, driver. Caravan can also help partners and dependants of employees.
