Aims

IndependentAge is a national charity providing friendship and financial support for older people on low incomes to help them remain independent in their own homes. IndependentAge is the brand name of The Royal United Kingdom Beneficient Association registered charity no 210729.

People helped

People from a professional or similar background. More broadly, all those who can be said to qualify as a result of their own efforts, by education, profession or the manner in which they have lived their lives. Must be of pensionable age or over 40 and unable to work because of ill health.
