Brave the Shave - Macmillan Cancer Support #bravetheshave campaign

Brave the Shave

Macmillan Cancer Support have launched a new TV advert for their #bravetheshave campaign, encouraging people to be sponsored to shave their hair for the charity.

The new advert features two staff members, Meela and Roy, from the Building & Civil Engineering charity braving the shave to help raise money for those with cancer.

Thousands of people are getting sponsored to shave their hair for Macmillan Cancer Support. Since 2015 brave shavers have raised over £22.7 million for the charity, an amount that could pay for 140 Macmillan nurses for three years. As well as fundraising for Macmillan, hair shaved can be donated to Little Princess Trust, a charity that creates real hair wigs for children and young adults that have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.
