ACO Groups

ACO runs several working groups and forums that meet regularly throughout the year on different areas of focus for the charity sector and our member charities. If you wish to join any of the below groups, please get in touch with

Please note: due to the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 pandemic all meetings are taking place virtually for the time being. 

Under Fives (small charities group)

An open forum for charities with solo workers or small staff teams (under five staff members) to discuss common issues felt by smaller charities. Meetings occur at least four times a year, usually in the afternoon after ACO's Grant Making Forums. 

MarComms Group

A quarterly meeting for MarComms and PR professionals to share knowledge and expertise, and get support with and share upcoming campaigns.

CEO Forum

A regular meeting for charity leaders within the ACO network to discuss common topics around running a charity and charity governance.

International Beneficiaries Group

A regular meeting for ACO member charities that support beneficiaries overseas to discuss common issues such as logistical challenges, prevention of fraud, benchmarking and determining appropriate levels of support.

Income Generation & Fundraising Group

A regular meeting of ACO fundraisers and charities looking to diversify their income streams.
