New trustees at iprovision

The CIPR benevolent fund, iprovision, has appointed four new trustees as it looks to raise awareness of the range of support it is able to offer members with financial or health issues.

  • Former CIPR President, Kevin Taylor, is a communications consultant and commentator on business and technology issues. Awarded the Sir Stephen Tallents Medal in 2017, he has been a board level adviser on reputation and communications to a range of global brand names as well as to technology start-ups. Kevin is also active in mentoring young PR professionals.
  • Jenifer Stirton is a director of Stockbridge PR - a strategic communications consultancy, that she set up in May 2015 to offer board level advice and interim director support. Passionate about learning and education, she has worked as a communications director across a wide range of UK public sector organisations and is also a member of the CIPR Council.
  • Gary Taylor has worked in the public and education sectors for more than 30 years, and has held several volunteer roles including Leeds United/Leeds Carnegie Ladies FC and as a civilian instructor with 59 (Huddersfield) Squadron Air Training Corps. He is a former chair of CIPR Yorkshire & Lincolnshire.
  • The fourth new trustee is Caron Jones, an experienced PR professional whose career spans the BBC, local government, higher education and the charity sector. She is a member of the teaching team for PR Academy, delivering professional qualifications for the CIPR and the University of Chester.
