We assist thousands of people who are serving or have served as Warrant Officers and below in the Royal Navy & Royal Marines, and their dependants, who find themselves in need or distress. Our aim is to help them enjoy a reasonable quality of life mainly by providing wide ranging financial assistance. We also care for older people in our own care homes and almshouse.

The Mrs L D Rope Third Charitable Settlement is a grant-making charity based in Kesgrave, near Ipswich. We make grants to individuals living in Ipswich and south-east Suffolk.

The Rahere Association

The Rahere Association is a charity devoted to the welfare of patients and staff of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. Grants are made to assist patients with anything that might benefit their medical wellbeing. Grants to hospital staff are often made for conference attendance and other professional development and training that is not otherwise funded by the NHS Trust. Grants to the hospital have previously included funds towards the purchase of new furniture for patient and staff day rooms, the purchase of bereavement resources for children, the supply of TENS machines to the pain clinic, and the commissioning of art work for the Cycstic Fibrosis wards.
