About the session
This session offers members the chance to step back from the day to day and explore questions around trustee involvement that many of us are grappling with. Some of the things we’ll be exploring include:
- What motivates trustees and how might this impact the role they play in your organisation?
- What would the ideal role for your trustees look like?
- How can we influence, engage, and work constructively with trustees to enable change?
We’ll also hear from a real example of how trustee involvement has been shifted, from heavy involvement in individual grant assessments to a more hands off strategic role, in order to spark fresh thinking and discussion. Whether these questions are ones you’re actively working through or you’re simply keen to hear from fellow members, you’re very welcome to join.
Building on our April session
This session builds on the discussion from our April learning space, What does the right support at the right time look like?, where members identified this as an area they’d welcome more space to explore. It’s the fourth in our series of big picture learning spaces with Turn2us, designed as a reflective space.
