What’s shaping our work?: Members’ learning workshop

Join ACO and Turn2us for a collaborative workshop where members will help shape a new learning space focused on the bigger picture of grant making and the wider challenges affecting our sector.

About the Workshop

This session offers members the chance to step back from the day-to-day details of delivery and reflect on broader questions shaping our work. Some of the prompts we’ll be considering include:

• How is poverty changing and how are we responding to it?
• What wider social trends are emerging, and how can we adapt to tackle them?
• Are we reacting to issues, or reaching their root causes?

Whether these conversations are already taking place in your organisation, whether you’ve been wanting more time to reflect, or whether you’re simply interested in hearing from fellow members you’re very welcome. If an open and collaborative learning space sounds valuable, this workshop is for you.

What You’ll Help Shape

This initial workshop is your opportunity to influence what this future learning space could become and ensure it is relevant and useful for ACO members. During the session, you’ll have the chance to:

• Share the big-picture topics you would like to explore
• Highlight conversations already happening within your organisation
• Suggest what you would value in a recurring learning space

The workshop will be facilitated by Turn2us, who will also convene the ongoing learning space in collaboration with ACO.
