ACO Receives Movement for Good Award

We’re delighted to announce that ACO have been chosen to receive a share of funding from the latest Movement for Good Award from the Benefact Group.

This award will enable us to develop and launch a customised training platform for casework professionals and grants teams in 2024 that will help extend their expertise in areas critical to the often challenging needs of their audience.

The Movement for Good Awards large grants provide charities with flexible funding that can be used within three years and for a blend of capital and running costs for their projects.

We hope to run quarterly tailored Caseworker training covering a number of specific topics that our member charities face when working with beneficiaries. With the support of the Benefact group we will be able to create bespoke modules to support Casework teams to manage difficult situations and expand their knowledge in a variety of areas.

We encourage any members with experience in organising employee training or experience in Casework and have ideas on areas that you would like to see covered within our training programme to join our working group. Please contact rosie@aco.uk.net with any interest/ questions.
