Keeping vulnerable households warm through winter with Doncaster Deaf Trust

In 2020 FFBS helped Doncaster Deaf Trust to distribute energy vouchers to low-income families most at risk of high energy bills, due to poorly insulated homes. Upon the recommendation of Doncaster Council, they approached FFBS for the fulfilment and distribution of fuel vouchers as part of their grant scheme.

Andy Ellis, Business Development Manager at DDT, said: “FFBS gave us all the help and support we needed and got everything set up in record time. The training for using the online portal was organised in a matter of days. While we were getting used to it, FFBS answered any questions we had very promptly, which was brilliant. They even changed their accounting system to make life easier for us; that’s what I call customer service!”

Our profits which are generated through supplier discounts, are gifted to Family Fund to extend their work helping disabled and seriously ill children; so you know that when you work with FFBS we can, together, better support thousands of people in need across the UK. Since launching in 2013, FFBS has donated over £6 million in unrestricted income to Family Fund, and we are so proud of the partnerships we have developed to help us achieve this.
