The Association of Charitable Organisations (ACO) has launched its Salary and Benchmarking Survey for 2025/2026, .
The survey collects information from support charities across the sector to build an updated picture of salary levels, employee benefits, and working practices.
By taking part, you will help strengthen the evidence base that enables charities to effectively compare, contrast and assess remuneration levels, benefit packages and working models.
The results will inform the ACO Salary and Benchmarking Report 2025/2026, which will be published in early 2026. The new report will build on insights from the 2024 edition, which can be viewed here.
The survey is open from 30 October to Monday 22 December 2025 and is open to all support charities, whether or not they are currently ACO members.
All responses are treated in the strictest confidence, and individual organisations will not be identifiable in the published results. The survey takes around 15–20 minutes.
